We strive to continue on improving our services even more, thus, we proudly established our very own day surgical operating theater so we can perform selected orthopedic surgeries on selected patients without hospital admissions, thus significantly decreasing total expenses. Our operating theater is equipped with all necessary equipment such as a cautery machine, anesthesia machine, cardiac monitoring devices and a pneumatic tourniquet, all of which are found in regular operating rooms in most hospitals. As the surgical procedures are orthopedic in nature, we also have our own modern c-arm to provide intraoperative imaging when orthopedic implant devices are used. A Sonosite Ultrasound is available for our anesthesiologists to perform a safe and effective peripheral nerve block, allowing adequate pain management without the need for intubation or general anesthesia. The use of peripheral nerve blocks also allows the patient to go home on the same day of the procedure, eliminating the need for prolonged recovery and observation post-operatively. Currently we have one fully equipped day surgery major operating theater and two minor surgical theaters for minor procedures done under local anesthesia.
Our surgeons are also supported by a skilled team of nurses, surgical assistants, and radiology technicians to allow a smooth and efficient flow of the entire surgical experience.
Our Surgical theater is DOH and PhilHealth Accredited. And we are proud to be the only Orthopedic multi-specialty clinic with a day surgery operating theater.
